Information reaching our news desk says that Nigerian Hip-hop twins, Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as of P-square, have finally split. In a letter, he sent to their lawyer, Festus Keyamo, and some media houses last Monday in Lagos, Peter demanded the termination of the agreement that binds the duo as a group.
In the letter, he accused his twin brother, Paul, of showing laxity and nonchalance s to the deal, and was no longer cooperating with him. He said he was forced to cancel their scheduled music tour to the United States because Paul was peddling lies about his family on social media, among other things.
Peter stressed that he was tired of the “drama” and all he wanted was opting out of the P-square group and contract.
Social media was set on fire after Peter posted a Snapchat video revealing that he was then in Philadelphia, US, for a solo show – without his twin brother, Paul.“My name is Mr. Peter Okoye. As from today, guess what? It’s show time, I’m about to go on stage alone”, he wrote.
The Okoye brothers who dominated Nigerian hip-pop music scene for long have been engulfed in a war of words on the social media in recent times.
