Results of the Presidential and National Assembly Elections that are at variance with the Electoral Law should be suspended.
A former President , Chief Olusegun Obasanjo canvassed this position at a media briefing.
The Electoral Law provides for the mandatory deployment of the Bi-modal Voter Accreditation System(BVAS) and the uploading of result from each polling unit into the server of the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) for public viewing ,monitoring and transparency.
Chief Obasanjo argued that the disregard of the Electoral Law amounted to a fraud and called on President Muhammadu Buhari to prevail on the Chairman of INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakub to embark on a fresh conduct of the reportedly flawed polls in strict conformity with the Electoral Law.
