Traders at Akere Spare Parts Market, Kirikiri Road, Akere Bus Stop, Olodi-Apapa, Ajegunle, Lagos, are still counting their losses as raging fire on Wednesday gutted property worth many millions of naira in the market .
It was gathered that a male adult was feared dead around the scene.
The victim was suspected to have died from a gunshot wound as no part of his body was burnt .
According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred at about 3.15p.m.
Reacting to the incident, Director of Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Mrs Margaret Adeseye, said that the firefighters contained the ranging fire and prevented it from spreading.
