The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-olu, has visited families of those who lost their loved ones in yesterday’s bus-train accident in Shogunle area of Lagos.
At the residence of Mrs Esther Olayinka-Rokosu, a staff of the State’s Internal Revenue Service, LIRS, Mr. Sanwo-olu condoled with the family and prayed for the soul of the departed.
The governo r , who was accompanied by the Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola and few cabinet members ,was in sober mood as one of his Permanent Secretaries offered prayers for the repose of the deceased.
He also paid a condolence visit to the family of a Youth Corps member serving in the Ministry of Education, Ms Oreoluwa Aina, who also died in the unfortunate incident.
The Governor, who was emotional, urged the parents to take solace in God.
Mr. Sanwo,-olu promised to ensure that justice was served after the investigations.
