Two weeks after the Presidential and National Assembly Elections, some members of the National Youths Service Corp, (NYSC) deployed as ad hoc staff by the Independent National Electoral Commission(INEC) in Lagos have again decried the alleged non-payment of their allowance by the electoral umpire
The affected corps members made their grievances known in an interview .
They expressed disappointment over the delay in the payment despite their efforts towards the conduct of the elections.
The corps members who stated that the total amount to be paid for the presidential election was # 17,500 each ,were ,however, disappointed after being paid only #4,500 as training allowance days after the election.
They pleaded with the commission to immediately begin the disbursement of the remaining agreed allowance.
