King Charles has travelled to Germany with Camilla, the Queen Consort, for his first trip abroad since becoming monarch.
King Charles and Camilla were welcomed with full military honours at the Brandenburg Gate
They landed at Berlin’s Brandenburg Airport on Wednesday for the beginning of their three-day tour.
The King and Queen Consort said that it was a “great joy” to “continue the deepening of the longstanding friendship” between Germany and the United Kingdom( UK).
They were due to visit France last weekend, but the trip was postponed because of the on-going pension protests.
