The Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) has enjoined its members across the country to always abide by their professional ethics in the execution of projects.
The President of ARCON , Mr. Dipo Ajayi gave the advice at the groundbreaking of Chase Real Estate in Ajah, Lagos.
Mr. Ajayi noted that the incursion of certain people who only care for pecuniary gains sometimes resulted in monumental failures triggered by natural disasters.
He pointed out that the real estate market in Nigeria had a major role to play in addressing housing challenges in major towns.
On his part, the Managing Director, Chase Real Estate Investors, Mr Bayode Ayeleso, applauded the courage of ARCON President by giving effective charges to members in order to create sanity in their operations.
Mr Ayeleso enjoined individuals, groups and co-operative societies to take advantage of the existing opportunities to help make their housing challenges a thing of the past.
He assured them there would be effective collaboration among the relevant stakeholders including the Government towards the actualization of improved housing for the populace soon especially in Lagos and some major cities.
