Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.” ESV
The destiny of a nation is in the tongue of her people. The type of words you speak most often form the image you build among people. When people notice you as the type of person that speaks negative words, the negative energy it creates causes people to run away from you. But if you speak positive words and radiate positive energy, you attract people naturally. You become a man people love and you find favor everywhere. Speak words of possibility and not impossibility. These kinds of words build people, breed acceptance and not rejection. Words bring action and reaction.
Numbers 23:19 – 21 “God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it? Behold, I received a command to bless: he has blessed, and I cannot revoke it. He has not beheld misfortune in Jacob, nor has he seen trouble in Israel. The LORD their God is with them, and the shout of a king is among them.” For there is no enchantment against Jacob, no divination against Israel; now it shall be said of Jacob and Israel, ‘What has God wrought!’ ESV
The enemies of Israel hired a Prophet (Balaam) to curse the Israelites, oblivious of the fact that Israel was blessed and cannot be cursed. It was impossible to attack or do any harm to Israel without the consent of God.
The present generation of our country is a blessed generation. The reason is because there are many in this generation that know God.
Although the government has plans but God’s plan is supreme. As the government is executing her plans, the plan of God will manifest as well. The most important thing is that God is the unchanging changer, the Lord that can do more than we can imagine. And in the final analysis it is only his counsel that will stand.
Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the LORD that will stand.” ESV

OUR WORDS SPEAK VOLUME
It is important you mind what you say. Whatever you say is like a King making pronouncement.
Ecclesiastes 8:4 “For the word of the king is supreme, and who may say to him, “What are you doing?” ESV
Whatever you say about your family, nation, yourself, friends is a determining factor to what will happen to you. If you don’t take dominion over your words, your words will take dominion over you and you will be ruled by the spirit of garrulity, which will make you a compulsive talkative. Words are like fresh eggs, when they fall and break into pieces it cannot be taken back. Be mindful of what you say. A man that will take dominion over the world must first take dominion over his words. Words are
powerful; they release energy, either positive or negative. Words carry power; words generate the force that creates one’s future. When you speak words, please mind exactly what you say.

WORDS AS WEAPON
In our contemporary world today, words are used as a weapon to build or destroy people. Words can either be used to incite or inspire. Do your words agitate? Are your words contrary to the promise and purpose of God? The words you speak are powerful and they strongly influence what happens around you. Are you among those who speak words that are not in agreement with the written word of God (logos)?
Public figures and leaders in civilized societies should therefore speak concerning what they will do in order to build their nations, steps they will take to reduce unemployment. They should also speak of what to do to make sure families are intact and how their nation’s economy will be built.

UTTERANCES AT HOME
A lot of people have destroyed their matrimony by the words of their mouth and by their mouth they have destroyed legacy of relationship.
Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear” ESV
What type of words do you speak at home? What type of words do you speak to your children? Do those words edify, build or destroy? Are those words a blessing or a curse? Words of favor or disfavor? Words that encourage or discourage? We need to be careful of what we say, it is very important. Men of dominion speak words that build self-confidence, relationships, dreams, of positive affirmation and appreciation.
What do you say to your wife? Have you ever looked at your wife and utter words of appreciation? Words of appreciation spoken to ones’ wife make her feel special, wanted and loved. Note this fact; there are no ugly women on earth as long as her man loves her. Build your wife’s beauty by speaking good words; in the morning, afternoon and evening.
Wife, speak words that edify your husband. Appreciate him every day as well. The words you speak about your husband will determine how he will eventually behave. Don’t go about complaining concerning your husband. The people you report your spouse to in most cases may even be worse.

PLEASANT WORDS ARE SWEET
Proverbs 16:24 “Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.” ESV
Speak good words of affirmation and encouragement. Speak from your highest level of self-esteem. Let good words come from your innermost being because these words come from the headquarters of your spirit man. They carry weight, energy and force. In the bible, it was the words David spoke that attracted the attention of King Saul. What you say determines who you attract. Oftentimes, the purpose of interview is to test your emotions, temperaments and how passionate you are about the job. Words are powerful; they paint the picture of who you truly are; either as a person with good intentions and integrity or not. Words build relationship. How you speak about people, friends, husbands, colleagues, and even your subordinate determines the quality of the relationship you will build.

PRAYER
Let the power of Holy Spirit purify my tongue and let the fire from the altar of God remove all impurities and every contrary words from my lips in Jesus Christ Name. Amen.

You are blessed.
