Many concerned women will tell you that cheating is the name of the game. It has been there from time immemorial and cannot be wished away. There are different stories from friends, acquaintances and lovers about how they caught their partners cheating on them. The heartbreak caused by infidelity can be enormous. Can the damage be ever fixed? That is the all-important question.
Let us take it from the words of a concerned fellow: “My long-term boyfriend and I recently broke up. What led to the break up is that I found an email where he had responded to a formal invitation from a woman looking for a “male casual sex buddy”. Can you imagine that? He swears they never met up. And that he loves me and it will never happen again. He said that he wants to try and work things out because now he realizes what he had. I love him and miss him as my boyfriend. But I am afraid that he will do this again. He swears he will not”.
The poor lady asked for advice. She asked if there are any certain signs she can look for to help her decide if that is true or if he will do it again. One can never know if the person will or will not. It only takes the fear of God in a man for him not to cheat on his partner.
Cheating is not about just having sex with somebody. The mere thought of it is cheating too. Friends or lovers can carry on sexually and emotionally charged affairs via phones or emails like we read above. So, we need to watch out because it is almost always a symptom of a problem within the relationship. It is rarely the actual problem itself. It damages the trust between two people and it is an ugly and dirty thing to do.
On a higher level, people fornicate and commit adultery because they think they found someone more beautiful and who pays them attention, makes them feel desired, and gives them a thrill.
Chatting with platonic zeal with the people online is not cheating. The point is that one can embrace such an option to boost his or her ego. But there are some men and women who make cheating their sport. Such people might have some form of sex addiction or they just might be depraved people who delight in deceiving those they claim to love.
