The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) says it has paid all allowances accrued to its officers, deployed for the presidential and National Assembly elections.
In a statement, the Force Public Relations Officer, Mr Olumuyiwa Adejobi debunked allegations that the Force was yet to pay its staff on election duties.
Mr Adejobi emphasized that the payment of the allowances due to all police officers has been effected with all lodgements made to their respective Deposit Money Banks for onward payment.
He therefore urged all officers and men yet to receive payment for the election duties to take up such matters with their respective banks to ensure that the process of resolving the issues responsible for the delays is fast-tracked.
