A Member of the Board of the Nigeria Cycling Federation,(NCF),Mr. Femi Thomas has stated that the federation’s main objective this year is to secure a spot in the Paris 2024 Olympic and World Cycling Championship.
Mr. Thomas made this known while speaking to newsmen ahead of the team’s departure for Cairo, Egypt venue of the championship.
The cyclists left for Cairo yesterday so as to acclimatise and get further training to put them in good shape.
The outing is aimed at that the the team picks enough points to qualify for both the Olympics and World Championships next year.
