The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed deep shock and sorrow over the accident that occured early this morning involving a train and a Lagos State Government bus, which happened between Shogunle and Ikeja axis.
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to Governor, Mr Gboyega Akosile, the Governor expressed his condolences to the families of those that lost their lives in the accident and prayed that God grant them eternal rest.
Governor Sanwo-Olu thanked Lagosians who joined the State’s first responders in the search and rescue operation, saying the true spirit of Lagos must be sustained at all times.
The Governor promised to give update on the incident .
