The Ghanaian footballer ,who died after an earthquake hit Turkey,Christian Atsu, will be buried today in his native Ghana.
The 31-year-old footballer was found dead after the earthquake caused the collapse of his apartment in southern Turkey.
Report says the state-assisted funeral will take place in the Ghanaian capital, Accra.
Thousands of mourners and well-wishers from Ghana and abroad will file past the body to pay their last respects.
The winger played 65 times for Ghana’s national team, helping his side to reach the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations final and also played for Premier League sides ,Everton as well as Newcastle.
