The Lagos State Government has announced that the BRT bus fares will revert to 100 per cent rate from Saturday ,April. 1.
The directive was announced in a statement by the Lagos Metropolitan Area Transport Authority, LAMATA.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had on February 8, announced a fifty per cent reduction in the fares of all state-owned transport services over hardship faced by residents due to petrol and cash scarcity.
The Governor also announced the provision of food banks in vulnerable places in the state.
