A former Minister of Labour and Productivity, and pioneer member of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Alhaji Musa Gwadabe, is dead.
Aljaji Gwadabe died this morning at the age of eighty six, at a Kano hospital, during a prolonged illness.
A daughter of the deceased, who is also a staff of Radio Nigeria, Pyramid FM Kano, Ms Aisha Musa Gwadabe confirmed the death and said the funeral prayer for the late minister held at his residence in Kano today.
Alhaji Gwadabe was a minister during former president Olusegun Obasanjo’s first tenure from 1999 to 2003.
He was also Secretary to Kano State Government during the tenure of Late Sabo Bakin Zuwo and was a member of several boards.
He left behind two wives, eleven children and many grandchildren.
