African-Americans used to refer to folks who have kids out of wedlock as Bad mama jammers. They should come to Africa, nay Nigeria, to find that Bad mama jammers are everywhere. What makes it trendy is that the Nigerian entertainment industry is full of such people. Yes, it is full of people who like to escape from marital commitments with the aim of raising children. Nollywood calls them baby mamas. The problem is that baby mamas have succeeded in creating a new culture – giving youths the impression that what they are into is right and trendy. Former Super Eagles goal-getter, Obafemi Martins, has three boys: Tyler, Kendrick and Kelvin Martins, from three different women while he has not married any of them. The last of the three sons of the footballer, who now stars for Shanghai Greenland Shenhua FC, came from Abigail Barwuah, the sister of another great footballer, Balotelli. Abigail currently lives with Obafemi.
