Newly appointed acting Inspector General of Police, IGP, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, said that he felt like a tiger and lion ready to chase away all suspected criminals and the country’s enemies.
Mr.Egbetokun stated this as he assumed office at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The immediate past IGP, Mr.Usman Baba, had officially handed over to Mr. Egbetokun after the Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima decorated him at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
President Bola Tinubu appointed Egbetokun as the new acting IGP alongside the Service Chiefs yesterday last Tuesday.
